Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and student accounts

You must provide accurate information and use only an account you are authorised to use. Students under 18 must use the service with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian where applicable. Accounts and licences are personal, non-transferable and subject to plan/device limits. Sharing credentials, selling access or maintaining deceptive duplicate accounts is prohibited.

2. Educational purpose

NewNcert provides question banks, practice, revision, tests and analytics as educational aids. Content and automated insights may contain errors and do not guarantee admission, rank, score or examination outcome. Official examination authorities and current prescribed textbooks remain authoritative.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal learning under your plan. You may not scrape or bulk-download content, bypass access controls, copy or redistribute questions or media, reverse-engineer the service, upload malware, probe systems without written permission, manipulate results/referrals, impersonate another person, harass users, or use the service unlawfully. Faculty and administrators must access only students and data within their assigned scope.

4. Plans, prices and payment

The checkout displays the current plan, duration, base price, discount and applicable GST before payment. Server-side plan and tax settings control the charged entitlement. Digital access normally begins immediately after verified payment or licence activation. Promotional, referral and coupon terms may have limits and expiry. Unless a plan explicitly states auto-renewal, it expires without an automatic charge.

5. Refunds and cancellation

Because paid educational content is supplied digitally and normally activated immediately, purchases are generally final after activation or use. Ordinary change-of-mind cancellation/refund is not available. Verified duplicate charges, payment-without-access failures, materially incorrect supply and rights that cannot be excluded by law are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If auto-renewal is offered, cancelling it stops future renewals and does not by itself refund the current paid period.

6. Account closure, suspension and retained records

An eligible student may close their own account from Profile after password confirmation. Access ends and sessions are revoked immediately. Direct identifiers are scheduled for anonymisation after the safety window. Restricted payment, tax, licensing, dispute, security, fraud-prevention and academic-integrity records may be retained for their applicable purpose; closed students and other students cannot access them.

NewNcert may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to contact support. A suspension for material breach does not create a refund right that applicable law does not otherwise require.

7. Content ownership and licence

Platform software, branding, organisation and proprietary content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence for personal educational use during your authorised access. User submissions must be owned by you or lawfully licensed. By submitting content for publication, you grant NewNcert the rights reasonably necessary to review, store, display, adapt for formatting and deliver it through the service, subject to the contributor terms shown at submission.

8. Service availability and liability

We aim to keep the service reliable and secure, but maintenance, internet failures, provider outages and security incidents can cause interruption. We do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, NewNcert is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss unrelated to a reasonably foreseeable failure of the paid service. Any limitation is subject to applicable consumer rights.

9. Privacy, security and communications

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for protecting credentials and reporting suspected compromise promptly. We may send service, security, payment and policy communications necessary to operate your account; optional promotional messages include applicable opt-out controls.

10. Changes, grievances and law

We may update these Terms for legal, security or service changes. Material changes are posted with a revised date and communicated where appropriate; fresh consent is obtained where required. These Terms are governed by applicable Indian law. Statutory consumer forums and other mandatory remedies are not excluded.
